Fox Special Awards (Left to Right)  BuckDance Memorial Jumper Trophy. (In loving memory of BuckDance, donated by Emily Wyatt.) All 2008 3 EQ & the “Hunter under Saddle” Challenge Champions won a hand-painted platter (Reserves a smaller one.); The P. T. Memorial Challenge Trophy goes to the Beginner schooling horse or pony with the most year-end points.  This award is donated in memory of Pillow Talk, beloved schooling horse of Chase Meadow Lane . (The trophies are both perpetual awards – the platter was specially made for 2008, but comparable prizes will be secured for 2009!)       Hanna Hanson (left) is pictured at the 2008 Fox Awards Banquet with the Touch the Flame Memorial Trophy, which is awarded to the horse/pony winning the most year-end points in the Hunter Divisions in Ring I.  Nicole Meier is pictured with the Reserve Champion Touch the Flame ribbon.   H. J. Fox Medal Qualifiers are held at each Signature Series show.  The Top Ten Qualifiers in each medal at the end of the season are invited to participate in the H. J. Fox Medal Finals at the Halloween Festival in October.  Beautiful prizes are given each year to the Champion & Reserve in each category, and special ribbons are awarded to the top 6 places.  Fox Medals for 2009 include:  J. Beg. 10 & under; Sr. Beg. 11 - Adult; Pre-Green EQ; Short/Long Stirrup; Pony; Junior 14 & under; and Senior 15-Adult.   Show in the Snow at the GHJA Classics I & II February 28th - March 1st Megan Phillips, riding "Saturday Morning", was the big winner in the Equitation Ring on both Saturday & Sunday, winning not only her 12-14 EQ Division High Points, but also the GHJA Jr. EQ Challenge!  Megan is coached by Meghann Murphy. Christie Prater, riding "Bankers Edition" won both rounds of the $500 Hunter Derby, winning both the cash award and an embroidered saddle pad.  "Bankers Edition" is owned by Caroline Ashway, and Christie riders with Sunny Stevens.  Congratulations to both of these riders.
